Three houses leave this valley each year.
Malmfuru is a nocturnal study of a Norwegian log-building lineage: eight generations, one inherited notch, resin-rich pine, and a production limit set by the work itself.
The premise
Scarcity is the consequence of method.
The site does not manufacture exclusivity. It shows the material, archive, tools, notch, houses, and family practices that make three houses a year an honest capacity.
Midwinter darkness concentrates attention. Warm workshop light identifies labor and lineage while the surrounding blue-black field holds the landscape in reserve.
