Vincent Ang · Since 2002

Design the idea. Build the system. Produce the outcome.

I work across design, development, and product execution because the strongest digital products rarely respect the boundaries between them.

2002Now

One practice, three responsibilities

I stay close to the whole product.

Designer

I establish hierarchy, interaction, visual language, and the qualities a product must protect.

Developer

I carry those decisions into accessible components, responsive systems, and production behavior.

Producer

I organize the people, tools, constraints, and review loops required to move the whole product forward.

The throughline

The tools changed. The standard became clearer.

This is the professional arc behind the résumé: systems thinking applied across craft, technology, and delivery.

  1. 2002

    Started in the browser

I began designing and building for the web when the distance between an idea, an interface, and its implementation was measured in the same file. That proximity shaped the way I still work: design with an understanding of how the product will actually be made.

  2. Expansion

    Moved from screens to products

The practice widened from page-making into product definition: flows, states, content, interaction, responsive behavior, and the decisions that help a team turn an idea into something people can use.

    Product thinking + execution
  3. Scale

    Made the decisions reusable

Design systems became the connective tissue. Tokens, component contracts, documentation, governance, and production code let good decisions survive across teams, brands, platforms, and releases without sanding away their character.

    Design systems + leadership
  4. Now

    Directing an AI-amplified practice

I use agents across research, design exploration, implementation, testing, and critique. The speed is new; the responsibility is not. I frame the problem, establish the rules, inspect the evidence, and decide what ships.

    Agentic product engineering

What I bring now

More than two decades of judgment, with a new generation of leverage.

Deep product experience lets me use AI as an amplifier—not a substitute for framing, taste, technical discipline, or accountability.
